MARCH 2025 For a Little Library We Do a Lot! Mon., Tue., Wed., @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Thu. & Fri. @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Sat. @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm New Carpet Update Our new carpet is finished and what a transformation! This huge project would not have been possible without a matching grant from the Findlay Hancock Community Foundation and additional donations from the Friends of the Library, Miriam Rader Endowment Funds, McComb American Legion, McComb Rotary Advised Fund and individual donors. With much sweat, blood (and maybe some tears), staff members and volunteers moved library furniture, books, and cases twice for the work to be completed. We contracted with John Kryling and K&K Cabinets to move the large adult bookcases. Much thanks to his crew Mitch Moser, Brayden Shoop, and Tom and Justin Ziegler for going above and beyond with that task. Thank you to Jake and Jeff Simons for moving the staff desks. A special thanks to staff member Heath Huffman and family for taking on heavy and unexpected moving tasks. And much appreciation to volunteers, Lori, Hailey, Jenna and Loryn Huffman, Laurie Bales, Kathy Abbott, Joe George and others for their hard work. We’ve updated our movie area and now have free standing racks for our Blu-ray and children’s movies. The racks were free from the Logan Hocking Library and brought to our library with help from Bill and Katie Grubb.
