November 2025 For a Little Library We Do a Lot! Mon., Tue., Wed., @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Thu. & Fri. @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Sat. @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm The Library will be closing @ 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26th and will be CLOSED Thursday, November 27th for Thanksgiving. Friends Basket Auction Begins Bidding starts Monday, November 17 for the Friends of the Library’s 20th Annual Basket Auction. Baskets and donations are still being accepted. To maintain a high quality auction we ask that donations be new items only. Some items already donated include: 2026 McComb Family Pool Pass; 2026-2027 McComb Family Sports Pass; 4 Tickets to The Ohio State Reformatory 2025-26 Season; 2 Tickets to the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; 2 Tickets COSI Columbus; 12’ Trampoline; Step 2 Anniversary Edition Up & Down Roller Coaster; Marsha’s Buckeyes Basket; McComb Family Dental Basket; Cindy Brink pies; Susan Leader pies and so much more! Each bidder will be given a number so bidding can be done anonymously. Please see any librarian to get your number. Raffle Table: There will also be a Raffle Table with various items for kids and adults. Tickets are 4 for $1.00 and are available at the circulation desk. Items will be raffled off at the end of the auction. The Auction will conclude on Thursday, December 11 at 5:00 pm. The Basket Auction is the Friends of the Library’s main fundraiser for the year. Last year’s auction raised a record high of $8,805.25. We truly appreciate your support. Thank you! Send a Letter to Santa! Starting Monday, November 17, you can stop in the Library and pick up a Christmas letter kit complete with envelope and sticker. Fill out our special letter to Santa, bring it back to the Library and put in our Santa Mailbox. Letters received by Saturday, December 6 will get a personal response letter from Santa in the mail! PLEASE BE SURE TO CLEARLY WRITE YOUR CHILD’S FULL NAME AND ADDRESS ON THE LETTER SO WE CAN ASSURE THAT IT WILL ARRIVE FROM SANTA.

New Movies Morning Story Time Story Time for Preschoolers has begun from 10:15-11:00 a.m. Sessions are for children ages 3-5 who are toilet trained. Join Miss Annette for stories, music, crafts and fun! Please be sure your child is ready for Story Time. These programs are specifically designed for children to attend on their own without adults/siblings. Each child is different and might not be up to the 45 minute program yet. We want this time to be a fun introduction to books and the library for all the children. Registration is REQUIRED by calling the library, stopping in to register, or on our website at mccombpl.org under the Youth Services tab. Please register by the Thursday before the next session. You do not need to register for each session once your child is enrolled.
